Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: May 6, 2026
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the activities you may not perform when using GoEasyPDF ("the Service"), operated by VR.CONSULTING Sp. z o.o. The AUP supplements our Terms of Use and applies to all visitors and subscribers, free or paid. Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
Because all PDF processing in our Service runs client-side in your browser, we cannot inspect, monitor, or block individual files. This means responsibility for what you process rests entirely with you.
2. Document fraud
You may not use the Service to:
- Alter invoices, receipts, contracts, bank statements, or financial records to misrepresent their contents
- Modify identity documents, passports, driver's licences, residence permits, visas, or any government-issued identification
- Forge signatures, seals, stamps, or notarisation marks
- Edit academic transcripts, diplomas, certifications, professional credentials, or licences
- Falsify medical records, prescriptions, lab results, or insurance documents
- Edit court documents, legal filings, or evidence intended for any judicial or administrative process
3. Intellectual property & access controls
You may not use the Service to:
- Process documents you do not own or have explicit authorisation to modify
- Remove or circumvent copyright notices, watermarks, or DRM from copyrighted material
- Bypass access controls on documents you are not authorised to read or modify
- Reproduce, distribute, or modify copyrighted PDF content (eBooks, paid reports, licensed publications) without the rights-holder's permission
- Extract copyrighted images, text, or data for unauthorised redistribution
Tools that work with password-protected PDFs are intended exclusively for documents you own or have legitimate access to, where you already know the password. The Service does not bypass encryption or recover lost passwords.
4. Privacy & personal data
You may not use the Service to:
- Process personal data of others without a lawful basis under GDPR or equivalent local law
- Extract, compile, or distribute personal information from documents you do not have rights to
- Process medical records, financial details, or other special-category personal data without the data subject's explicit consent
- Doxx, harass, or facilitate stalking through document content
5. Illegal & harmful content
You may not use the Service to process or distribute content that:
- Constitutes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) under any applicable law
- Promotes or facilitates terrorism, violent extremism, or incitement to violence
- Contains malware, exploits, or executable code masquerading as PDF content
- Violates trade sanctions or export controls (e.g. EU, US OFAC, UK sanctions lists)
- Constitutes hate speech against protected classes
- Is otherwise illegal in the jurisdiction where you reside or where the document originated
6. Service abuse
You may not:
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without our written permission
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code beyond what is publicly visible in the browser
- Circumvent or manipulate usage limits, authentication, payment flows, or other security measures
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service or its output
- Use the Service in a way that disrupts, degrades, or overloads our infrastructure or third-party services
- Submit fraudulent payment information or chargebacks for services you in fact received
7. Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated this AUP. We cooperate with law-enforcement authorities where required by law and may report violations involving illegal content (e.g. CSAM) to the appropriate authorities.
Because we do not see your files, enforcement happens at the account level β based on payment-fraud signals, public reports, or evidence supplied by third parties (e.g. rights-holders, law enforcement).
8. Reporting violations
If you believe someone is using the Service in violation of this AUP, or if you are a rights-holder issuing a copyright takedown request, please email support@goeasypdf.com with relevant details. We respond to verified reports within 5 business days.
